About the artist
Rachel is a Tattoo artist and freelance illustrator in Portland, Oregon, and attended the Pacific Northwest College of Art. In the Spring of 2014 she graduated with a BFA Fine Arts and Illustration. During the pandemic, she changed course into learning how to tattoo under some of the best artists in the Pacific Northwest, and became licensed in the craft in summer 2022.
Rachel draws influences from her love of Japanese animation and comics, her international taste in music, and her love of fashion and dance. A balance of traditional line-work and eye-popping digital color are a staple in her work. She also loves to paint, sew, screen-print and use markers in her personal sketchbook work.
Her work has been featured at Tattoo conventions, Portland galleries, curated online galleries, t-shirt designs for public performance groups, and in publications of collaborative art zines.
